Special Education Teacher: Looking for someone to teach special education. We have a relatively small caseload consisting of primarily K-5 students. We have a small and supportive staff and a welcoming community. First year teachers start at level 3 on the salary schedule and employees receive an insurance stipend.

Library: Deer Park School is looking for an energetic and flexible person for a .5 Librarian with the possibility of .5 Title I position to make the position full-time. The Library position includes library classes for students in grades K-5, library management, organization, and maintenance. if full-time, the librarian may also be asked to teach Middle School elective classes (i.e. technology/digital media, drama, yearbook, etc.) and be able to assist and support with Title I students. Knowledge of Google, Canva, Infinite Campus, and other digital media/technology skills a plus. Will consider .5 FTE for just library as well. 

Counselor: Deer Park School is looking for an energetic and flexible person to fill a .5 School Counseling position. The counselor is expected to provide guidance classes for all grade levels and be able to maintain effective and frequent communication with families, students, and staff. There may be opportunities to help/lead Student Council and teach elective classes.
