Part-Time Paras NEEDED! We are still in need of a part-time paraprofessional to work as teacher and student support during the school day. Days and hours can be flexible. WORK DAY! Saturday, August 19th there will be a work day for Deer Park School. We will be cleaning up the grounds and doing minor fixes. All are welcome. The day will begin at 9:00 a.m. Feel free to bring any lawn and garden tools you may have. See you Saturday!

IMPORTANT: 5th and 6th grade athletes are now required to have a sports physical on file to participate in Deer Park School sports. If you have a child who is planning on participating in sports in 5th-8th grade, please bring a copy of their physical to the school office or email to brucep@deerparkedu.org. Happy Fourth of July! Garden Club is taking a break this week - enjoy your celebrations! We'll be back in the garden on Tuesday, July 11th at 9 am harvesting raspberries. Crash Zone Fun! If your child will be attending Crash Zone tomorrow please send them with an extra set of clothes (NO SWIM SUITS PLEASE, THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED) and a towel. Weather permitting we will be doing some outside sprinkler fun.

Thursday is the last day of school and students will be dismissed at 11:30. There will be a community BBQ right after school. There will be Crash Zone on Thursday after school until 6:00 p.m.
Our 8th grade class will return today from their History trip at approximately 3:30. There is a schedule that was given to them before they left, so be sure and check that if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing them later today!
