Deer Park School welcomed two new teachers to our amazing staff today! We are so fortunate to have Sherry Bradstreet taking over our special education position and Heidi Weathers is our new Library teacher. Welcome Sherry and Heidi—we are so thrilled to have you here!!

Happy Monday everyone! There are two away games this week for the boy's basketball team. The first game is tonight at Helena Flats, and tomorrow's game will be 7/8 only at Columbia Falls. There has also been a grade check today, and you Deer Park student-athletes are working very hard to keep up on the court and in their academics. Take this break to recharge and catch up. Have an awesome week, and a happy thanksgiving to you all!

Wreath pickup will be Monday and Tuesday after school!

Families: If you have students in Crash Zone in the afternoon, please know they will not be allowed to attend home basketball games or other events on their own unless the school receives verbal or written communication directly from you. They are supervised while in Crash Zone but we cannot be responsible for them during the basketball games or other after school events. Thank you so much for your understanding and cooperation.

Thank you to all the parents and families who came for Parent-Teacher conferences. Today is a scheduled day off. Enjoy your long weekend!

The Boys basketball team won their first round this morning! They advance to the next game and will be playing at 2:45pm. Additionally, there is a home game against Stillwater tonight. The game will start with the 5/6 team at 4:15pm. This is a slight change from the original 4:00pm start, and the 7/8 team will play after the first game. See you all tonight!

Happy Wednesday everyone! Because of the new quarter beginning, there will be no grade checks until Monday 11/21. The boy's basketball teams will be busy starting tomorrow! The 7th grade Stillwater tournament begins Thursday morning. Deer Park's first game is at 8:30am against C-Falls Blue. If they win this game, they will play again on Thursday at 2:45pm, followed by games on Friday and Saturday depending on their wins. We also have a home basketball game against Stillwater on Thursday 11/10, starting at 4:00pm. We hope to see you there and have an awesome week!

Good Morning! Our picture re-take day is going to be on November 14, 2022.

What an amazing day yesterday! Our 7/8th choir worked extremely hard and put on a phenomenal choir concert with 8 other schools! Then, at 7pm, some of our band students got to watch the world renowned trumpet player Allen Vizzutti in Whitefish. Thank you all so much for your hard work, and thank you Deer Park families for helping me make all of these things happen! Music is AWESOME!

Hello Deer Park families. Tomorrow is a very busy day for our music department, and we could not be more excited! I will be gone all day with our amazing middle school choir students. They will be performing at FVCC in the Flathead Valley Middle School Choral Festival! We will be leaving at 8:30pm and returning to the school by 4:30pm. If you would like to watch the performance, it will be held in the "Arts and Technology Building, room 139" starting at 3:00pm. Also, some of our incredible and dedicated band students will be going to Whitefish to watch the world famous trumpet player, Allen Vizzutti, perform at the Whitefish Performing Arts Center at 7:00pm. What an awesome day to be in music!

Happy Monday everyone! Grade checks will begin on Wednesday. The boy's basketball team will have practice tonight, a game AT St. Matthew's on Tuesday, and practice the rest of the week. The 8th grade boy's basketball tournament sponsored by Evergreen School begins on Friday, and their first game is at 5:00pm. Their first bracket game is on Saturday at 10:00am.
